Not really moving up, just moving in general. We are officially headed over to Livejournal. I know some of our members are not fans but consider this a fresh start for Bohren!

What's next? The game is open to anyone here that wants to continue with us. We ask that you please repost your characters App on the App page of our New Home. Then, comment on the Cast list page. Your app will not have to be approved, its just to let us know that you are moving over to the new site. Feel free to also join all three communities.

All members of the game that are currently on the Cast List have been moved over to the Reserved Character section of the game. You have until 02/14/11 to repost your application and comment with your character to the cast list page. If you do not, your character will be considered dropped from the game. This means your character (if not OC, cause boy wouldn't that be strange) can be apped by a different player. If you do plan on coming back at a later time, please let us know and we can consider you and your character on a hiatus.

We do hope that you stay with us during this change, but if you do want to drop, we completely understand.

We'd also like to announce that Naomi, ryttu3k is now one of our Assistant/Helper mods. Congratz Naomi :)

Apology for the silence. Your lovely Mods have had a fairly hectic last few months. I hate giving excuses, so I won't. It was not okay for us to not do our jobs as mods, and for that, I apologize. Bu I love this game far too much, I don't want to close it down. SO! For our remaining members, we would love to keep the game going, if you are willing, then so are we.

If you would rather not continue with us, then we can totally and completely understand. We will miss you horribly because we love every single person in our cast, you guys are all wonderful.

There is a plan right now to do some reworking on the mechanics of the game, to try to improve on why the game went into silence before. There are a lot of things we can improve on, that is for sure. I hope everyone will be able to join in and we can carry on.

The goal at this point is to get us the hell out of Sheercliff. I think everyone is a little tired of being in this city. Right now your Mods are going to play the role of Dean, the Fighting Type Gym leader. So if you want your character to challenge, a post will be going up shortly for challenges.

A post will also go up soon for the next route, to get us out of the city and onto tpart of Bohren. In which there will be no tournie, but a contest instead :) This is the goal, so lets all work together and I cannot wait to play with everyone again :D

What? We've totally been here the entire time! You guys are CRAZY.

Anyway, now that Nanowrimo is completely over and everyone has had a few days to recoup, I'd like to take a moment to congratulate anyone and everyone that attempted this year! Both of your LOVELY Mods actually reached the 50,000 goal (and got some bad ass novels out of it). And I know a few of our players also reached the mark, so CONGRATZ! To those that didn't, we are still so happy that so many of our players took the time to actually attempt it. It was a great ride BUT NOW IT'S TIME TO GET BACK TO BUSINESS.

Where we last left off, team rocket stole one Pokemon FROM EVERYONE. Then Mew came along and switched our BRAINS. So now your Trainers are in Pokemon bodies and vice versa. The thread is going to have two options, either for your Trainer!Pokemon or your Pokemon!Trainers. Take your pick. This event will be considered the November event.

In relation to Sheercliff, keep an eye out for a thread on Monday regarding the Badge/Gym Leader challenges and the like. We know everyone and their Mom is probably tired of being in Sheercliff, and we'd like get everything moving a long as quickly as possible.

Evening everyone! Figured since things have been moving a little slowly, I would announce the ~*~HALLOWEEN EVENT~*~ Now remember, we will not be posting the Halloween event until the Quakesburg tournament is completed, but might as well give you guys a heads up on the event (Want the cookie?! Ehhhhh?) so everyone can prepare and figure out who they want to use ;)

Sheercliff Town is another outstanding marvel of man versus nature. The Town itself is built into the large stone cliffs over the ocean. Rock and Fighting type Pokemon are by far the most popular types here, as most of them were used to create the town itself. While the larger buildings are on top of the actual cliff, a good 70% are on the actual cliff face. The only way to reach them is to brave Rope ladders, using Pokemon that use the move Rock Climb (which can be provided to trainers at the Sheercliff Pokemon center) or long and tedious stairways built inside the cliffs. which take hours to climb. It can also be assumed that Pokemon that can fly can also be used as transport up and down the cliff face.

The people of Sheercliff are kind hearted, filled with respect for nature, Pokemon and each other, and are by far the most disciplined of all. The town itself is built around the Sheercliff Dojo, which over 80% of the towns population attends on a day to day basis. The only reason most people live in the town it to attend classes there. Because of this, the town has thrived and caused the area to boom with success.

The Sheercliff Dojo is located directly on top of the Cliff. It Over looks the vast oceans on one side and on the other the magnificent Bohren Mountains. There are various classes people and Pokemon can attend either separately or together. Bells ring thirty minutes before sunrise and thirty minutes before sunset as a reminder of the popular classes are about to begin. The Morning classes take place on top of the cliff, outside the Dojo and evening classes take place within the Dojo, which has run for centuries. The leader of which has vanished...

There is not a lot to do in Sheercliff, except attend Dojo classes. Which is good because to challenge the Sensei, one must attend as many classes as possible. You must gain respect from him to accept your challenge. Gym challenge take place only after dark. Many trainers have had to stay in the town for weeks just to be able to attempt to challenge him. The next tournament does require his badge, and his only. So best of luck.

Hopefully he will return soon, for now, the Pokemon center is located at the heart of the cliff face, so don't think you can avoid just staying on the tops of the town! Sheercliff is now open.

Hello, Bohren players! As I'm sure you all know, things have been slowing down a bit at our beloved game here, so the mods have been thinking hard to try and figure out things to help spice it up a bit, and to set us apart from other Pokemon RPs out there.

After much deliberation (that's a lie, it was a five second AIM conversation that mostly consisted of flailing over what geniuses we were), we've decided to add a new mechanic to our game that we hope all of you will enjoy!
